American Grassland Buffalo Meat :

Buffalo - America's Original Red Meat

Buffalo (Bison) is….
  •   Lean & Healthy!
  •   Low in Calories, Cholesterol, & Fat!
  •   High in Protein!

Grass fed buffalo is one of the healthiest meats available and is far superior to any factory farm meat you find in grocery stores.

The Grass Fed Buffalo meat has even less fat than skinless turkey and chicken. In addition, it has increased omega-3 essential fatty acids, more CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid), more beta-carotene, and fewer calories.  (see Nutrition Facts)

Our buffalo are raised from birth to death on their natural environment…the American grasslands. The field kill process produces the finest meat and is the most respectful for the animal.

We want to provide a market that doesn't promote genetic changes in buffalo.  Many buffalo are raised in feedlots and bred selectively for the largest size. You will help reverse the trend of sending buffalo to feedlots and treating the American Buffalo as livestock.

Being reconnected to our food source enhances our respect for the animals we take for food. It expands our feeling for the habitat and our remembrance of the animal when it was alive.

The young bulls, heifers, and cows are good for all cuts of meat. The trophy bulls are good for tenderloin, hamburger, stew meat, and jerky. At $500-$1,500 for a 600-1200 lb live weight buffalo, it's a real value.

Harvesting your buffalo from October to February is best for quality hides. We have many repeat customers every year, and we sell out quickly…..So bring your bow, rifle, or we have buffalo rifles they used in the old west.  Don't forget your family, friends, and camera!
